Will you be so nice and provide an answer to my question. Do you happen to know how to defend your own ideas from being stolen?F. Im sure it will work for you.. I dont know why people think that a dog can't pass a cotton ball threw him lol its literally cotton, the softest thing you can think of.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6249797229643808397.post-12229705519879302552012-03-29T11:51:34.415-04:002012-03-29T11:51:34.415-04:00I have to say I agree with anonymous ^^ above. I work in an emerge clinic and see a lot of foreign bodies xrays and surgeries. Eating cotton can make matters worse. If you swallowed something harmful you wouldn't go eating cotton- you'd go to your doctor. Give your pet the same respect.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6249797229643808397.post-532174308054052742011-05-12T12:55:07.143-04:002011-05-12T12:55:07.143-04:00Please, please, please don't do the cotton bal...Please, please, please don't do the cotton ball thing. I have just read a question and answer forum where somebody offered this advice to a person whose dog ate a cooked bone. Others in the same forum responded that they had heard of this method too. I did a bit more reading on the web and found that a lot of people have repeated this advice. An undigestible substance like cotton can just complicate things in your dogs intestines and cause further issues--blockages, intestine twisting, rupture, and other consequences of potentially deadly consequence. If an emergency arises, pick up the phone and call your vet or emergency clinic and get advice from people who have seen situations like this time and again. There is wisdom in their experience. If the idea is to save the cost of a trip to the vet, you may be creating greater expense to yourself and increasing your furry-friend's suffering.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6249797229643808397.post-46007693994637506972009-09-26T23:30:08.777-04:002009-09-26T23:30:08.777-04:00My dog ate chicken bones and he wasn't passing...My dog ate chicken bones and he wasn't passing them, so I tried the cotton ball remedy. Within 20 minutes he broke out in hives. His eyes were swelling up and I was afraid his air passages would also swell so I rushed him to the vet. Turns out it was an allergic reaction to the half and half. That was basically a $200 chicken wing. :(Jackienoreply@blogger.com
